Tay Sachs Disease Affect Victoms Tay-Sachs Disease=what Cells?

Tay-Sachs disease=what cells? - tay sachs disease affect victoms

I am a biology project and I'm wondering what (cell n) Tay-Sachs button. If you can be specific, it would be useful. And even if you can identify (or) the types of cells, such as Pro / eukaryotes. Thank you a lot if you can help.

"The disease occurs when harmful quantities of a fatty acid derivative called ganglioside accumulate in the nerve cells in the brain. Gangliosides are lipid components of cell membranes and ganglioside GM2, implicated in Tay-Sachs - is particularly common in the nerve tissue of the brain."

Eukaryotic cells and returns to the animals (humans).

I know that living cells are nerve cells in the brain. Otherwise, I'm afraid I can not help myself.
